MVR LSM Clinic (“we”, “us”) is the lifestyle & metabolic care programme of M.V.R. Medical Centre, 12 & 13, ECR Main Road, Karuvadikuppam, Lawspet, Puducherry – 605 008. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, book a consultation or join a programme, and how we handle it in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number and password (stored in encrypted form).
• Booking details — age, city, main health concern, preferred date and time, and anything you choose to tell us in the booking form.
• Health information — reports, diet plans and notes shared with or prepared by our doctors as part of your programme.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and status; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Usage information — basic technical data such as pages visited, device and browser type, used to keep the site secure and working.

2. How we use it

• To create and manage your account and give you access to the programmes you have purchased.
• To schedule and conduct your consultation, and to prepare your personalised plan.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders and programme updates by email and WhatsApp.
• To process payments, prevent fraud and meet legal and accounting requirements.
• To improve our programmes and website. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.

3. Health information

Health information is shared only with the doctors and care team involved in your programme. Diet plans and documents uploaded to your account are visible only to you and our care team after you sign in — they are not publicly accessible.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the programme — for example our payment gateway (Razorpay), video hosting (Vimeo), hosting and email / WhatsApp messaging providers — and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information where required by law.

5. Video watermark

To protect our course content from unauthorised copying, your name and phone number may appear as a moving watermark on programme videos while you watch them. This is visible only to you on your own screen.

6. Storage and security

Your information is stored on secure servers with access limited to authorised staff. Passwords are encrypted and the site uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

7. Retention

We keep your account and programme records for as long as your account is active and as required for medical record-keeping and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your account at any time, subject to those obligations.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for messages, by writing to us. You can update your name and phone number yourself from My Account.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to make the site work. We do not use advertising cookies.
